The incident unfolded as the driver traversed the CR118 between Christnach and Müllerthal, abruptly losing control of the vehicle, resulting in the car flipping over and ending up in the middle of the road. The road had become slippery due to heavy rainfall.
The police had issued a warning shortly before 7pm on Wednesday evening following heavy local rainfall.
As a result of the unfortunate positioning of the vehicle involved in the accident, the specific section of CR118 was temporarily closed to traffic for safety reasons. Remarkably, the driver emerged unscathed from the accident.
