A motorist in Leudelange drew police attention on Wednesday at around 5.20pm due to reckless driving.
After a verbal altercation with another road user, the driver attempted to intimidate the other party by brandishing what appeared to be a pistol.
Police quickly intercepted and searched the vehicle, where they found the weapon in question. It turned out to be a blank-firing pistol rather than a genuine firearm. A report was filed and the weapon was seized.
