A burglar had successfully gained entry to a home in Bergem after forcing a secondary door. As he was rummaging through some bags in the house, he came face to face with the owner’s dog.
The four-pawed friend was clearly fearless, as he scared the burglar away instantly before he could steal anything. Unfortunately, the burglar could not be found by police. That pet definitely deserves a delicious bone this weekend.
Other burglaries were reported in Rollingergrund around 4am, where two individuals broke into a single-family home through a window. They were caught red-handed by a person living in the house and also made a run for it, but had searched several rooms before being caught.
A third burglary took place in Esch. Police did not provide details on this case.
