Minister for Mobility François Bausch cited these figures provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) in his response to a parliamentary question by MP Jeff Engelen from the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (adr).

In his answer, the Minister also specified that a person is considered seriously injured if, after an accident, they hospitalised for more than 24 hours and have certain injuries such as a fracture, concussion, internal injuries, cuts, bruises, or other injuries.
