In Schifflange, Dane’s new concept store has come to life - with his “sneaker clinic” he has started offering a range of services to give your old shoes a brand new life. For a starting price of €35, customers can have their shoes cleaned or personalised, if you’re particularly attached to your shoes or just fancy having a unique look. Indeed, Dane also has a sewing machine with which he can customise any pair of shoes and make client’s wishes come true. Dane can accommodate even the most unconventional requests, such as incorporating pieces of people’s favorite football t-shirts or bags into their footwear.
At the very beginning, the young instructor was made fun of by his friends. However, his success is evident. His dream would be to be able to make a living from his services, but in Luxembourg, this is not so easy. Many of his clients come from abroad and contact him through social media.
