This will be done in two phases. First, teachers and other staff will receive invitations to get a test done through the large-scale testing. There will also be tests carried out by mobile units in schools where the virus has been spreading.

In a second phase, rapid tests will be deployed, which are currently being procured and evaluated by the education and health ministries. This is done in an effort to track the spread of the virus in a given class or school more quickly.

The parliamentary question had been raised by Pirate Party MP Sven Clement.
