The incident took place at around 4.20pm on Monday afternoon. The victim is believed to have fallen from scaffolding around 10 metres high, suffering serious injuries in the process.
He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital for further care.
The public prosecutor’s office has ordered an investigation. The construction site has since been closed by the ITM.
