KirchbergConstruction site to affect Avenue Kennedy from 30 October until 6 November

PHASE 1

From 30 October 2021 (6:00) to 1 November 2021 (6:00)

Traffic flow will be affected as follows:

• For traffic leaving the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Rue Charles-Leon Hammes and Rue Coudenhove-Kalergi(including intersection).

Public transport will also be affected as follows:

Between the “Rout Bréck–Pafendall” and “Bleuets” stops, buses on line 12 will be rerouted in both directions via Desserte Schuman and Rue du Fort Thüngen. Buses will not call at the “Philharmonie/MUDAM” (Quais 1 and 2), “Niedergrünewald” (Quais 1 and 2) or “Léon Hengen” (Quais 1 and 2) stops. A temporary stop in both directions will be located on the bifurcation of Rue du Fort Thungen and Rue des Coquelicots.

PHASE 2

From 2 November 2021 (21:00) to 3 November 2021 (5:00)

Traffic flow will be affected as follows:

• For traffic going in the direction of the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Rond-point Serra and Rue Alphonse Weicker.

PHASE 3

From 3 November 2021 (21:00) to 4 November 2021 (5:00)

Traffic flow will be affected as follows:

• For traffic going in the direction of the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Rond-point Serra and Boulevard Konrad Adenauer (where these roads meet to the east, which is the intersection closest to the Serra roundabout).
• For traffic going in the direction of the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Rond-point Serra and Boulevard Konrad Adenauer (where these roads meet to the east, i.e. the intersection closest to the Serra roundabout).

PHASE 4

From 4 November 2021 (20:00) to 5 November 2021 (5:00)

Traffic flow will be affected as follows:

• For traffic going in the direction of the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Boulevard Konrad Adenauer and Rue Coudenhove-Kalergi.

PHASE 5

From 5 November 2021 (20:00) to 6 November 2021 (11:00)

Traffic flow will be affected as follows:

• For traffic going in the direction of the city centre, the main lanes will be closed on the section of Avenue John F. Kennedy between Rue Coudenhove-Kalergi and Rue Erasme.
