It is only the start of the week, but the situation on Luxembourg’s roads is already getting complicated for motorists. In addition to the roadworks that have been going on for many months, an accident involving several vehicles is blocking the A3 and A31 motorways on Monday morning.
The accident occurred in the direction of Luxembourg City, between the Bettembourg intersection and Livange. The left-hand lane is currently blocked and kilometres of traffic jams have been reported on both sides of the border.
The authorities are recommending that a safety corridor be formed to allow emergency vehicles to intervene.
