A collision between a car and a motorbike occurred on the A1 motorway, between the Mertert and Potaschberg exits, at around 6.45am on Wednesday. The incident led to a significant traffic jam towards Luxembourg City, with the tailback reaching roughly 7km at its peak and causing delays for morning commuters.
Authorities reported that the accident scene was cleared by around 9am, and advised that traffic was expected to return to normal gradually as the morning progressed.
