
The details surrounding the circumstances of the accident are yet to be disclosed, but the impact, which took place around 10.15am, left seven people injured in Esch-sur-Alzette. The incident unfolded on the N4d in Esch/Lankelz, situated between the Lankelz interchange and Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
A large number of rescue teams were deployed, with the Esch emergency centre despatching two ambulances, accompanied by two vehicles from the SAMU team based in Luxembourg City, to rescue the victims.
Due to the severity of the accident, the road in the direction of Esch-sur-Alzette was completely closed.
