Monday evening in DommeldangeCivil Service Union plans protest rally over salary agreement dispute

RTL Today
The General Confederation of the Civil Service (CGFP) is set to stage a protest rally on Monday evening, demanding the full implementation of the salary agreement. The trade union contends that the evaluation system within the Luxembourg army fails to uphold the terms of the agreement.

Despite the change in government, the stance on the issue remains consistent with the previous administration, asserting the necessity for distinct rules within the army. According to government officials, “this has always been the case.”

The protest is scheduled to take place at 6pm at the Parc Hotel in Dommeldange. Concurrently, the CGFP is preparing to file two complaints with the Administrative Court.
