After Luxembourg City, Dudelange and Differdange have now also announced they will not be organising their winter events this year.
In Dudelange, this means there will be no Christmas market, no winter fair and no Saint Nicolas parade, as these were considered too high risk when "the main focus must be on avoiding contacts and halting the spread of the virus", according to the mayor and municipal council.
In Differdange, the market, which was to take place from 5 to 23 December, has also been cancelled.
