A child was hit by a car on Avenue Charlotte in Differdange at around 6pm on Friday. Emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette and the Sadiff centre were deployed to the scene to provide assistance.
Three people sustained injuries when a car collided with a pole on Route de Bascharage in Niederkorn at 9pm. Emergency services from Sanem-Differdange, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Pétangee swiftly arrived at the scene to take care of the injured.
Another accident occurred shortly after midnight when a motorist crashed into a pole on Rue August Hansen in Wasserbillig. One person was injured in the collision.
Shortly before 1am, a motorist ended up in a roadside ditch on Rue de la Paix in Koetschette, a crash that also resulted in injuries.
Finally, emergency services report a car on fire in Rumelange at around 3.30am, with only material damage occurring.
