
The Luxembourg train service (CFL) attributed the chaos to a "technical problem with the infrastructure" at the Bettembourg train station, which led to a cancellation of four trains between Metz and Luxembourg.
The TER88721 (Metz-Luxembourg), the TER88714 (Metz-Luxembourg), the TER88721 (Luxembourg-Metz) and the TER 88714 (Luxembourg-Metz) have all been cancelled.
The TER Grand Est railway service has announced two additional disturbances concerning the line TER88712 (Metz-Luxembourg) at 6.46am and the TER88805 (Luxembourg-Thionville) line at 7.25am.
