Ahead of the full parliamentary return, which will be marked by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel’s state of the nation address, Chamber president Fernand Etgen is set to present his annual report to MPs on Monday, before laying out the desired goals for the new year.
PM Bettel is scheduled to speak at 2.30pm on Tuesday, and MPs will be given time to react to it on Wednesday and Thursday. Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna will present the new budget for the upcoming year on Wednesday. MP and Dudelange Mayor Dan Biancalana will act as budgetary reporter.
It will be an important moment for the government coalition and an opportunity to present their vision for a future after the pandemic.
