In some cases, draft bills revolving around the coronavirus crisis still have to be presented to the Chamber of Deputies despite the ongoing state of emergency. Parliament will therefore remain operational the next two weeks.
Three draft bills will reportedly be discussed coming Friday: a law about state guarantee schemes to support the economy, a law about ID cards, and a law about the financing of political parties.
For the time being, parliamentary sessions still take place at the "Krautmaart" on Rue du Marché des Herbes.
The Chamber of Deputies is nevertheless set to move to the Cercle Municipal building on Place d'Armes in the near future.
