Two road accidents occurred on Monday evening, with the first taking place shortly after 6pm on the A1 motorway towards Luxembourg City, where two vehicles collided. One person sustained injuries in this incident.
A second accident was reported just after 8pm in Dudelange, on Rue de Boudersberg, where a car ended up in a field – again leaving one person injured.
In addition to the accidents, CGDIS teams were called out to deal with reports of smoke in several places. In Bertrange, smoke was detected coming from a lorry, prompting emergency services to intervene. Another incident occurred in Mühlenbach, where smoke was observed at a construction site.
According to CGDIS, a further report of smoke also came in from Diekirch, specifically on Avenue de la Gare.
