
The affected products are from Alcon’s “DAILIES TOTAL1" and “TOTAL30" lines.
During the manufacturing process, these lenses came into contact with an unintended substance. While they do not pose a serious health risk, wearing the affected lenses could result in eye irritation or blurred vision.
The National Health Directorate has published a list of affected lot numbers on its website. Consumers who have purchased these lenses are advised to contact their optician or pharmacy for information on how to seek reimbursement.
In the meantime, the Ministry advises users to switch to glasses and avoid wearing the affected lenses.
