Shortly before 5.15pm, a vegetation fire broke out on Rue Rosswinkel in Scheidgen. Fire crews from Consdorf, Echternach, and Mertert were dispatched to the scene.
At around 6.40pm, firefighters were called to tackle a hedge fire on the RN15 between Niederfeulen and Heiderscheid. Teams from Feulen and Mertzig responded.
Later in the evening, just before 11pm, a fire started on a balcony in Cité op Hudelen in Schifflange. Firefighting units from Schifflange, Kayl, Rumelange, Sanem-Differdange, and Esch-sur-Alzette were called to assist.
No injuries were reported in connection with any of the three fires.
Separately, emergency services responded to a traffic accident at around 7.45pm on Route de Noertrange, where a car overturned. One person was injured. Emergency teams from Goesdorf and Wiltz, as well as the SAMU from Ettelbruck, attended the scene.
