At around 8am, a motorist navigating the CR186 noticed smoke coming from the engine of his vehicle as he approached a bend.
The driver decided to pull over to the side of the road, a decision that proved crucial as the vehicle soon became engulfed in flames. He called the fire brigade, who swiftly arrived at the scene. To facilitate the operation, one lane of traffic was temporarily closed. No injuries were reported.
