In Hesperange, thieves attempted to gain access to a property on Rue Sangen on Wednesday evening, but were caught in the act by a resident. The individuals managed to escape on foot.
Overnight, another break-in was reported on Rue de Pettingen in Mersch. Burglars accessed the property via the patio doors, but were discovered by the residents and were able to make their escape.
Police have launched investigations into both incidents.
