The automatic bollards, which can be lowered into the ground, will be installed on 19 August. When raised, the short posts prevent motorised vehicles from entering a street.

Aside from the seven retractable poles, there will also be five locations equipped with fixed installations.

Luxembourg City residents and business owners will get passes to activate the bollards.

Delivery times in the capital, which last from 6am to 10am, will remain unchanged. During those four hours, the bollards will stay lowered into the ground.
