A fire broke out in a vacant former clothing store on Grand Rue in Luxembourg City on Thursday evening, prompting a response from emergency services, though no injuries were reported.

According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a fire broke out in a vacant retail space on Grand Rue in Luxembourg City on Thursday evening. No injuries were reported.

The blaze started at around 8.55pm. The shop last housed a well-known clothing brand until August 2024, when it closed down for good.

Firefighters from Luxembourg City and Hesperange responded to the scene, along with Luxembourg City ambulance services.
