A collection of 180 luxury watches seized in money laundering cases is set to be auctioned off by the Asset Recovery Office (BGA), with all proceeds to be donated to the Fund for the Fight against Certain Forms of Crime.
The public auction will take place on 21 March 2026 at Casino 2000 in Mondorf. According to a BGA press release, this will be the final auction in a series that previously sold 150 watches in June 2024, and 202 watches in March 2025.
Interested buyers must register online to participate. The sale will also be accessible via online or telephone bidding for those who have registered in advance. Physical viewings of the watches will be held on-site from 17 to 20 March, also subject to online registration. On the day of the auction, only photographs of the items will be displayed.
