The municipality of Betzdorf has launched an appeal for witnesses on social media following a break-in at the primary school in Roodt-sur-Syre. A complaint has also been filed with the police.

According to a post published on the municipality’s Facebook page on Tuesday, unknown individuals broke into the primary school over the Easter weekend and caused significant material damage.

The municipality stated that it will not tolerate such behaviour and will rigorously investigate the incident. Local residents have been asked to share any observations with the police emergency number 113.

Meanwhile, the municipality assured that school will proceed as normal following the end of the Easter holidays.
