Shortly before 11pm on Tuesday, a major fire erupted in a barn in Bastendorf. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), nobody was injured. Emergency services from Nordstad, Tandel, Ingeldorf, Bettendorf, and Colmar-Berg were deployed to the scene.
Another fire was reported in a technical room on Rue Carlo Hemmer in Luxembourg City at around 11pm. Local emergency services were sent to the scene to extinguish the flames.
Around 3am on Wednesday, a rubbish bin on Rue de la Grève in the capital caught fire, another incident resolved by local emergency services.
