Luxembourgish Union for ConsumersBanks and cash money should not be abolished

RTL Today
On Monday morning, ULC issued a press release to address the ongoing closures of bank and post branches.

The Union for Consumers laments that the government remains inactive when it comes to counteracting this tendency. Especially the mobile banking units are an unacceptable replacement for an institution that should be locally accessible.

ULC further criticises that nothing is being done against the slow yet steady disappearance of cash money. Especially older and younger citizens tend to have problems when using the modernised systems, and at times have to rely on family and friends to maintain an overview.
