The announcement of the auction was made on Tuesday by the Asset Management Office (BGA), the state’s appointed agent for managing and selling seized or confiscated assets. Proceeds from the auction will be allocated to the Fund to Combat Certain Forms of Crime.
“This initiative aligns with the government’s ‘crime does not pay’ policy and underscores Luxembourg’s commitment to using confiscated assets in the effective combat against crime,” stated the BGA in its press release.
