The incident unfolded on Avenue de la Gare, where two assailants attempted to snatch a person’s bag, resulting in a confrontation.
A witness intervened, prompting the perpetrators to flee the scene. The police launched a search operation and successfully apprehended two suspects following orders from the public prosecutor’s office. No injuries were reported.
Additionally, a series of burglaries were reported to the police on Friday evening and in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Incidents were reported in Gonderange at Hiehl cul-de-sac, Moutfort on Rue de Pleitrange, Bereldange on Rue Bellevue, and Wormeldange on Rue Principale.
