Burglary in Peppange

Two burglars were caught in the act by on Wednesday afternoon during a break-in on Rue Haute, Peppange. The two men fled in opposite directions after residents surprised them in the process of gaining entry to a storage room. Police mounted an unsuccessful search for the perpetrators, while a forensics team was dispatched to the site. An investigation has been launched.

Drunk and disorderly

A man was arrested in Luxembourg City after displaying drunk and disorderly behaviour whilst walking along Rue de Strasbourg on Wednesday evening. A police patrol stopped the man at around 8.45pm, at which point he became aggressive towards officers. He was deemed to be a danger to himself and others, and consequently taken into custody.

Police were also alerted to a man exhibiting erratic behaviour on Place de la Gare on Wednesday evening. When officers attempted to get the individual to accompany them to the police station, he became agitated and could not be calmed down. He was later arrested and taken for a medical check-up.
