A suspect was reported on the Esplanade after gaining access to the vessel.
Several police patrols were dispatched to the scene and, during their search, the alleged perpetrator was intercepted on Rue Duchscher. The individual was arrested on the orders of the prosecutor’s office and appeared before the investigating judge on Monday morning.
In a separate incident on Sunday afternoon, a man attempted to steal tyres on Rue Nicolas Brosius in Leudelange. Police launched a search operation and quickly apprehended the suspect.
Further investigation revealed that the man might be connected to additional thefts. He was arrested on the prosecutor’s orders and also appeared before the investigating judge on Monday.
