The trial referred to an incident in Strassen in August 2015.
The defendant had been charged with stabbing another man in the back, the arm, and the foot. The defendant and his then-girlfriend also stood accused of having hit the victim, tied him up, and threatened him.
The appeals court showed itself lenient and reduced the man's sentence from 15 years (five suspended) in prison to eight years in prison, with half of that term suspended.
