Traffic jams built up around the France-Luxembourg border on Wednesday morning after a lorry collided with a car near Dudelange on the A3 motorway. According to reports, the accident was cleared by 8am.
At 10.45am more traffic jams were reported, due to another accident at Livange involving several vehicles.
The emergency services have issued a reminder of the obligation to form a safety corridor between the lines of cars.
