Motorists who can wait until Friday to refuel are set to benefit from lower prices at the pump, as all fuel types in Luxembourg will become cheaper from midnight.

The price of 95-octane petrol will decrease by 5.7 cents per litre, bringing the new price to €1.789 per litre on Friday.

For 98-octane petrol, drivers will pay 5 cents less per litre, with the new rate set at €1.884.

The biggest reduction applies to diesel, with a price drop of 9.7 cents per litre. From Friday, a litre of diesel will cost €1.837.

Heating fuel users will also benefit, with a reduction of 10.3 cents per litre, lowering the price to €1.279.
