
The main change affects work time regulations, which will be adjusted in order to create a better balance between work and personal life. In terms of remuneration, the point value is to be aligned with the collective agreement of the Federation of Hospitals.
In addition, the press release also specifies that employees within the care sector will be able to benefit from both one additional, recurring day off as well as two additional, extraordinary days off in 2021. This last measure is specifically meant as a sign of gratitude towards employees for their work during the pandemic.
The new collective agreement will retroactively enter into force on 1 January 2021 and will remain valid until 31 December 2023.
