Civic engagementAction committee pleads for referendum over chapter four of constitutional reform

RTL Today
On Wednesday, the Ministry of State received another official request for a referendum over the ongoing constitutional reform.

The Ministry of State will have three days to determine if the request is receivable. If approved, people will be able to sign the initiative at their local municipality.

A minimum of 25,000 people have to sign the request to replace the second vote in the Chamber with a nationwide referendum. Similar initiatives were already launched for the first three chapters of the constitutional reform, but none of them managed to cross the necessary signature threshold.
