The trial centred around large-scale drug trafficking and the involvement of substantial sums of money. Notable assets, such as cars, houses, and luxury watches, were seized as part of the investigation.

Since mid-April, the 20 defendants have undergone trial proceedings, and on Thursday, the first instance verdict was announced.

The outcome encompassed both individual acquittals and prison sentences ranging from one and a half years to 16 years. Additionally, fines were imposed as part of the verdict.
