At 10.05pm, two cars collided on the A13 heading towards Schengen, between the Gadderscheier industrial estate and the Aessen tunnel. Firefighters from the Sanem-Differdange response centre attended the scene, while first-responders from Esch-sur-Alzette tended to two injured people.

Two further accidents at around the same time each left one person injured:

The first took place on the CR110 between Clemency and Grass, with ambulances from Mamer and firefighters from Käerjeng and Kahler called to the scene. The second was a crash on the CR306 between Grevels and Grosbous, where firefighters from Bissen and Grosbous and responders from Rambrouch were joined by the emergency medical service (SAMU) from Ettelbruck.

Shortly before 11pm, a fire broke out in the basement of a house on Rue du Clopp in Rodange. Firefighters from Käerjeng and Pétange managed to put out the blaze and prevent anything worse, with an ambulance from Pétange also called out. No one was injured.
