The National Roads Administration has announced that resurfacing works will be carried out on the A1 motorway between the Gasperich interchange and the Hamm exit. As a result, this section will be closed from Friday, 17 July at around 9pm until Monday, 20 July at 4am.

During the works, traffic will be managed in both directions on a single carriageway, meaning two-way traffic will be in place on this stretch. Speed limits will be lowered to 70km/h, and to 50km/h within the Howald tunnel. In addition, the number of cars taking the ramp at the Gasperich interchange will be reduced, and diversions will be clearly signposted.

Detailed information about the roadworks is available on the CITA website.
