One person was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision involving two cars and a lorry on the B7 between Ingeldorf and Friedhof.
A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on the B7 road between Ingeldorf and Friedhof at around 5pm on Thursday.
Preliminary information from the police indicates the incident began with a collision between a car and a lorry. This initial impact caused the car to subsequently collide with a second vehicle.
The accident resulted in one person suffering serious injuries, while three others sustained minor injuries. Emergency services, including four ambulances and an Air Rescue helicopter, were dispatched to the scene. The road was closed for the duration of the rescue operation.
The public prosecutor's office has ordered an investigation into the cause of the accident, to be conducted by the forensic police.




In an unrelated incident, a separate accident took place at around 5.30pm on the bypass in Junglinster. The collision between two cars resulted in injuries to two people. Paramedics from both Junglinster and Luxembourg City attended the scene.
