A clip of Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel joyfully leaping into the arms of his Ukrainian counterpart in Odesa has gone viral.

Since Tuesday, Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel has been on an official visit to Ukraine, where he appeared especially delighted to be reunited with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha. In video footage from the port city of Odesa, where the two met to pay tribute to the victims of the war, Bettel can be seen quite literally jumping into Sybiha's arms and embracing him warmly.

The clip has since gone viral on TikTok, boosted by a playful edit, but it is clearly the heartfelt greeting itself that struck a chord. The video caption summed it up perfectly: "You won’t see anything cuter today."
