RTL Today - Urban temperatures up to 36°C: Orange heat alert issued for Wednesday afternoon

From 1pm until 6.59pm on Wednesday, Luxembourg will be under an orange weather alert due to extreme heat.

Meteolux expects maximum temperatures to reach between 33–35°C in the south, with up to 36°C possible in urban areas. In the north, highs of 30–33°C are forecast, with localised peaks of 34°C in towns and cities.

Residents are advised to seek shade during the hottest hours, drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activity in the midday sun, and use sun protection such as hats and SPF sunscreen.
