Six people were injured in accidents on Thursday afternoon, including an incident involving the popular tourist train in the capital.

One person was hurt in a collision on the CR164 between Foetz and Schifflange, after two vehicles crashed into one another. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene.

At around 12.30pm, a motorcyclist was injured in a fall on the CR320 between Unterschlinder and Hoscheid. Emergency services from the Nordstad centre, Bourscheid and Hosingen attended the crash.

In Luxembourg City's Grund district, the tourist train known as the Pétrusse Express was involved in a crash at 2.20pm. Four people were injured as a result and received treatment from the capital's ambulance service.
