Luxembourg's customs authorities announced on Thursday that they made a major seizure in the passenger area of the airport earlier in July.

During a routine inspection, officers discovered 607 cartons of untaxed cigarettes being carried by three passengers arriving from Athens, who together had six large suitcases.

According to the press release, security personnel reacted swiftly and launched investigations against the three individuals on suspicion of customs violations.
