The city of Luxembourg is wrapping up its National Day festivities on Monday 23 June with a packed schedule that also marks the 25th anniversary of the reign of Grand Duke Henri.

After a festive weekend that filled the capital with music and celebration from 21 to 23 June, Monday brings a series of official ceremonies and cultural events.

The day begins at 9.45am with a reception at the Philharmonie, followed by a 21-gun salute in honour of the Grand Duke at Fetschenhof at 11.15am.

The traditional military parade will then take place along avenue de la Liberté in the city centre at 12.15pm, ahead of the Te Deum service held at 4.30pm at Notre-Dame Cathedral.

City Sounds will close the day with a pop music line-up running from 5pm to 11.30pm, featuring both local talent and international acts including James Bay and Train.
