The Luxembourg City Film Festival kicks off on Thursday, featuring exclusive premieres, high-profile guests, and a diverse lineup of films, documentaries, and special events.
The Luxembourg City Film Festival returns from 6–16 March, offering a diverse selection of films, documentaries, virtual reality experiences, exhibitions, and special events. The 15th edition also features exclusive screenings, high-profile guests, and new programming highlights.
Among the major attractions, acting icon Tim Roth will host a masterclass, while actress Trine Dyrholm joins the festival jury, presided over by Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Rasoulof.

The festival also showcases Desirée Nosbusch's directorial debut, Poison, and Fränz Hausemer's documentary Terre Rouge – Topographie du poète. The main cast of Poison will be in attendance.
New to this edition is a dedicated evening for TV series, featuring three Luxembourgish productions and co-productions. The festival also strengthens collaborations with institutions like Mudam, Casino Forum d’art contemporain, and Neimënster.
One special screening, in partnership with den Atelier, is Peaches Goes Bananas, a documentary about punk icon Peaches.
Festival organisers highlighted their effort to balance serious themes with films that bring humour and lightness, offering audiences a chance to escape and enjoy.
