Replacing Paul Dühr, former diplomat and Luxinnovation Director Sasha Baillie has been appointed Marshal of the Grand Ducal Court, having been sworn in on Monday in the presence of Grand Duke Henri and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume.
Sasha Baillie has been appointed Marshal of the Grand Ducal court. A former diplomat, she became director of Luxinnovation inMay 2018. Baillie is now replacing Paul Dühr, who had been Court Marshal since February 2022.
The Marshal of the Court represents the Grand Duke, being responsible for numerous tasks, including the following: organising the official activities of the Grand Duke in his role as Head of State, fostering relations between the Grand Ducal court and the government, and overseeing the external and internal communication of the Maison du Grand-Duc.
The Marshal is also in charge of the official activities of the Grand Duchess, the Crown Prince and Princess, and other members of their families.
