Patrizia van der Weken won the 60m race at the World Indoor Tour Gold, with a remarkable time of 7.07 seconds.

Patrizia van der Weken feels like she is in a dream. Before entering the race in Madrid, the athlete of the year had won all the races of the indoor season.

On Friday evening, she added another victory to her impressive résumé: at the Gold meeting in Madrid, the student world champion showed off her skills by winning the 60m race with a time of 7.07 seconds. This victory made her the winner of the Circuit World Indoor Tour.

Her trainer Arnaud Stark is also satisfied with her achievement.

The 26-year-old athlete has become a favourite for the upcoming European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. She continues to aim for a European medal in the 60m discipline.
