Meteolux had issued a yellow weather warning for the north of the country, but snow fell across all of the Grand-Duchy.

Snow fell across Luxembourg overnight into Monday, with the Éislek region recording more than 9cm. In the city and along the Moselle, snow accumulation was around 3cm. This marked the first significant snowfall of the season, affecting not only the northern parts of the country.

Drivers travelling through the night had to exercise caution due to slippery conditions, and some roads remained snow-covered on Monday morning. While temperatures are expected to rise, caution is still advised.

As shown in the photo, the first snowfall began on Sunday evening at 9 PM, with snow sticking in places like Heiderscheid.
